A delicious soup!

Last night I threw together an easy recipe for dinner. Here’s what I did:

  • Cooked two pounds of ground beef in the skillet. Drained the grease.
  • Added some minced onion, minced garlic, chives, salt, and pepper.
  • Added 8 ounces of cream cheese and let it melt.
  • Next, I added 4 peeled and cubed potatoes.
  • I poured in 32 ounces of beef broth.
  • I added three tablespoons of all-purpose flour into 2 cups of half and half and mixed it. Poured that into the saucepan with everything.
  • I stirred it all up, brought it to a slight boil, and then turned it to low. I put the lid on top and cooked for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • I topped it off with about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and it all turned out so good! The kids loved it!
